
Mumbai in July smells like nothing else. Wet stone, wet earth, the particular electricity in the air ten minutes before the next downpour. We wanted a menu that smelled like that too.
Everything here is warm, a little smoky, built for staying indoors while the city outside gets loud. Soup courses that ask to be eaten slowly. A window left open just enough to hear the rain without inviting it in.
